John Louis Home Manufacturer's Limited Warranty
John Louis Inc. guarantees its products against defects in materials and workman -ship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Any damage caused by external causes, including negligent installation, abuse, or general misuse of the product is not covered by the warranty. Custom configured products are non-refundable.
To request warranty service, you must call John Louis Inc. at (800) 480-6985.If warranty service is required you must ship copy of receipt of purchase, enclose return address, and the defective product back to John Louis Inc. during the warranty period in its original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. John Louis Inc. will ship replacement products to you.
John Louis Inc. reserves the right to modify its warranty at any time, in its sole discretion. Customer agrees that it will be bound by this agreement once the package is opened or its seal is broken.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. John Louis inc. Sole obligation (and customer's sole remedy) with respect to the foregoing limited warranty shall be to, at its option, refund the purchase price or repair/replace any defective products, provided that john Louis inc. Receives written notice of such defects during the applicable warranty period. Customer may not bring an action to enforce its remedies under the foregoing limited warranty more than one (l) year after the accrual of such cause of action. All express and implied warranties for the products, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the warranty period set forth above and no warranties, whether express or implied, will apply after such period. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Stock Adjustments & Return Goods
John Louis Home offers Stock Adjustments during the first order period only unless otherwise negotiated. During this period exchange of product applies only to like merchandise. Freight for stock adjustment period is pre-paid by John Louis Home.
Stock Returns
John Louis Home only accepts return merchandise in original unopened packaging. Accepted merchandise for return is: 1. Non-consumer damaged product; 2. Product damaged during shipment; 3. Mismarked or misidentified merchandise and 4. Mispackaged merchandise are accepted for return. Consumer altered or modified products are not accepted. Return freight is negotiated.
Damages
3rd Party Billing
- All damages incurred from freight line or drop-ship delivery are at the sole responsibility of the retailer. This includes processing claims with the carrier and recovering costs.
Freight Invoiced
- All damages incurred from freight line or drop-ship delivery are at the responsibility of John Louis. This includes processing claims with the carrier and replacing damaged product.
- Damage claims must be submitted stating the original PO# and the products damaged.
NO CREDITS FOR REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS OR DAMAGES MAY BB DEDUCTED FROM INVOICES OR PAYABLES WITHOUT THE REQUEST FOR A CREDIT AUTHORIZATION NUMBER FROM JOHN LOUIS HOME.
Replacement
John Louis Home will replace damaged or wrongly shipped items at the request of the retailer. Item must be shipped back and received by John Louis prior to replacement item shipping (Unless otherwise agreed upon by John Louis). To obtain replacement product, please call us at (800) 480-6985 & be able to provide the following items:
- Initial PO #
- Replacement Item #
- Replacement Quantity
- Digital Photos (For damaged items)
